One category, done properly
Surplus electrical wire is a specific market. A company quoting a mixed package often treats the wire as a rounding error inside a larger deal. We do the opposite: we look at conductor, insulation, voltage class, construction and footage, and quote the wire on its own merits.
If you offer a package that includes cable and other equipment, tell us which part is wire and we will quote that portion. Clear identification is the difference between a guess and a number.
Tags, footage and photographs
Most wire quotes come down to evidence. A reel tag identifies the cable and the length. A jacket print confirms the type and listings. A photograph of the conductor end separates copper from aluminum and shows whether the insulation is intact.
We ask for those three things, plus a wide shot of the lot and a look at the loading area. With them, a quote can usually be given without a site visit. Without them, any number would be a guess — and a guess is worse than a question.
