Have these four things ready
- The wire type from the tag (THHN, XHHW-2, MC, SER, tray cable, 15kV, and so on).
- The gauge or MCM, and copper or aluminum.
- The approximate footage and how many reels or coils.
- The city or ZIP where the wire is stored.
If you have a photo of the flange tag, that single image usually answers the first two.
